1. Who we are

MAX•330 is run by Rob Llewellyn, a UK-based collector. Domain: max330.games. Contact: rob@llewellyn.io. There's no company behind this site; it's a hobby project.

2. What MAX•330 does

We catalogue Neo Geo MVS cartridges and let UK-based collectors list carts they own. Buyers and sellers contact each other off-site (email, WhatsApp, phone). MAX•330 takes no fees, no commissions, and never holds money.

3. Off-site transactions

Once you contact a seller, the transaction happens between you and them. We don't escrow payments, ship items, mediate disputes, or guarantee that anyone is who they say they are. Reputation badges and the AI classifier are signals, not promises.

4. Eligible sellers

You can only list MVS cartridges that you own and that are physically located in the UK. We don't accept listings from sellers based outside the UK.

5. Bootleg listings

Some cartridges in the catalogue are bootlegs (unauthorised copies). Listing a bootleg on MAX•330 requires you to confirm a disclosure that explains the legal status. We allow these listings because the alternative — pretending they don't exist — leaves new collectors exposed to fraud. The yellow BOOTLEG badge is mandatory and cannot be removed by the seller.

6. Cross-border purchase

We don't support shipping outside the UK. If you're a buyer based outside the UK and choose to contact a seller anyway, you're responsible for whatever your jurisdiction says about importing the cart, including bootlegs. We can't help with customs, taxes, or seizures, and we won't intervene if a transaction goes wrong.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use MAX•330 to:

• misrepresent a cartridge (calling a bootleg genuine, or claiming it's authentic SNK product when it isn't);
• harvest contact details;
• scrape the catalogue or listings without consent; or
• harass other users.

We can hide listings, ban accounts, and block IPs at our discretion.

8. Reputation and ratings

Buyers and sellers can rate each other Good, Fine, or Bad after a sale. Ratings lock 14 days after creation; we don't allow retaliatory edits. Three or more Bad ratings in 30 days will hide your listings pending review.

9. Intellectual property

Catalogue data is © mvs-scans.com contributors. Listing photos are owned by whoever uploaded them. We display them under fair use for the purpose of facilitating sales. Trademarks (Neo Geo, SNK, MVS) belong to their respective owners and we don't claim affiliation.

10. Liability

MAX•330 is provided “as is”. We're not liable for losses arising from off-site transactions, classifier mistakes, pricing inaccuracies, or downtime. To the extent permitted by UK law, we exclude all warranties.

11. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email to registered users 14 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
